Introduce your kids ages 8+ to woodworking! Each month, your kids can build and decorate their own toy, game or gadget.
Annie's Young Woodworkers Kit Club is a monthly subscription that sends your kids ready-to-build kits along with tools. Kid-friendly instructions walk them through each step as they master real-world skills and build projects they can display with pride!
Each kit includes the instructions, precut and predrilled wood pieces, nails and/or screws, stickers, paint and other specialty materials needed to build and decorate a project. The full-color photo instructions should be easy enough for kids ages 8+ to follow with minimal adult supervision. The wood pieces include predrilled holes for easier construction, though your kids will need to take measurements for some steps.
The first 3 kits will include 5 kid-size, high-quality tools your kids will use again and again including a hammer, tape measure, screwdriver, jeweler's screwdriver and carpenter's square. Your kids will only need common household supplies like scissors and glue. The paint may seem thin at first because it has separated during the shipping process—you may need knead the paint tube before use to develop a thicker consistency.
Because we are always creating new woodworking kits, the shipment your kids receive may not be one of the featured examples.
