Homemade Kit for On-the-Go Stitching

If you enjoy stitching while in the car, on vacation or anywhere away from home, you can create a handy kit to take with you. Simply make a photocopy of the pattern, cut out all of the pattern pieces and gather together your tapestry needle, a small pair of scissors and any other supplies, such as embroidery floss or pearl cotton. Cut 18-inch lengths of yarn in the color(s) specified on the pattern and loosely braid them together. Place all of the items together in a large zip-close plastic bag. When you are ready to begin your new project, everything you will need will be in one place and easy to locate.
