Glue Strings
When working with a hot-glue gun and glue sticks, a frequent issue is glue strings that get stuck to your work. To avoid glue strings when using a hot-glue gun, practice a swirling motion as you work. After placing a drop of glue on your work, lift the glue gun slightly and swirl the tip to break the stream of glue, as if you were making an ice-cream cone.
