How to Work a Lazy Daisy Stitch

A popular and easy-to-learn stitch used to create petal-like shapes, making it ideal for floral designs. It’s essentially a detached chain stitch, where each loop is anchored separately to form individual petals or leaves.

Bring needle up through fabric at A, form a loop and hold it with your thumb. Insert the needle back down through fabric at A and up at B. Make a small anchor stitch to hold the loop in place. Pull gently until loop lays smooth.
