A baby or children's blanket made in a theme for all space lovers, that shows the planets in the solar system and the galaxy we all love. This blanket is worked from the top left corner working towards the lower right corner. It is a unique "corner-to-corner", quarter-circle design, where the natural curve that is crocheted shapes the sun and then the orbital lines for all the planets. Plus, it is made with a linked double crochet stitch that creates a warm crocheted fabric with no holes!
Made using worsted-weight yarn. Sample shown made using 220 yds of yellow, 2,300 yds of light gray, 110 yds of white and 5-20 yards for each planet.
Finished size: about 38" wide x 50" long
