How to Work a Wrapped Backstitch

Work a basic backstitch and then wrap existing stitches by inserting needle under each stitch and wrapping the thread before inserting needle under the next stitch. When wrapping, the needle stays above the fabric, being careful not to catch the existing thread with the needle. The backstitch thread and the wrapping thread can be of the same color or can be two different colors depending on the look desired.
