How to Create a Simple Loop
Using round-nose pliers, bend the wire 90 degrees just above the bead. Trim the excess wire to ¼ inch. Grasp the end of the wire so no wire sticks out between the plier blades.

Begin making a loop by rolling your hand away from your body. Don’t try to make the entire loop in one movement. Roll your hand 1/4 turn counterclockwise.

Without removing the pliers from the loop, open the plier blades slightly and pivot the pliers back toward your body clockwise about 1/4 turn.

Close the pliers onto the wire and roll the loop until it comes around, next to the 90-degree bend.

Open and close loops the same way as you would jump rings, by pushing them open front to back.
