Mitered squares are fascinating. The color, design, and various possibilities are endless. The squares are reminiscent of a baseball field and children sliding into "home plate." The mitered squares are worked individually picking up stitches as you work a series of columns. Changing colors create interest and a fun knitting experience. Upon reaching the end of the blanket stitches are again picked up to create a border. This project is seamless.
