This pattern is for a continuous granny square blanket. You start in the center and keep going until it™s as big as you like!
Using DK-weight yarn you will need 2,200 yards for the 40" and 3,000 yards for a 60" blanket. Using worsted-weight yarn, you will need 2,000 yards for a 40" blanket and 3,400 yards for a 60" blanket. Sample shown made using Lion Brand Mandala Dk-weight yarn with controlled color changes.
